Re-discovering your style

Project Runway Season 14. Yes I know I am probably the only person left who still watches this programme. Mainly because I can't get enough of Tim Gunn and don't think I ever will.

But the reason I bring it up is I have been obsessed with the newest season. In particular, with *SPOILER* the recently eliminated designer David Giampiccolo. And in particular, this coat:

Give me it.

Buy me it.

Burry me in it.

As soon as I saw it my mind started reeling just thinking of the possibilities of this coat, what to put it with, where to wear it, how to photograph it.

As mentioned in my previous post I just started a course in fashion styling at The London College of Style and seeing clothes like this, or even just watching Project Runway has made me so excited about clothes again.

Having lived in Dubai for the last 10 months I began to feel like I was loosing my sense of style, you can only do so much shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops everyday.

It's so exciting to play with clothes again, to move to a new city and get to wear things I'd maybe not have been comfortable or confident enough to wear in other cities. I have begun to care about the way I look again and always want to make a statement or impact wherever I go. You have no idea who you will meet, or who will see you. Especially in London.

I have decided to adopt the mantra of, 'Dress every day like you might bump into your ex' because lets face it, it could happen and you always want to look your best and show them what their missing.
